Obituary

Harry N.Rousseau,formerly of Belle Vernon,of 604 1/2 E.Gambier St.,Mt.Vernon,Ohio,died Tuesday evening,Oct.5,1982,in Knox Community Hospital,Mr.Vernon,Ohio,following an illness of five weeks duration.  He was 77.  Mr.Rousseau was born Dec.6,1904,in Belle Vernon,a son of the late Arthur and Clotilde Joris Rousseau.  Moving to Ohio 33 years ago,he was a retired glasscutter for Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co.in Mt.Vernon,Ohio.  He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church,Mt.Vernon,Ohio,and was a past member of the Mendelssohn Choir in Pittsburgh,Pa.  Mr.Rousseau was preceded in death by two brothers,Arthur and Ernest Rousseau.  Survivors include his wife,Rose Wehry Rousseau,at home,one son,William Rousseau of Ford City,Pa.,one daughter,Ora Jean Roussean of Mt.Vernon,Ohio,one brother,Gene Rousseau of Mt.Vernon,Ohio,six sisters,Mrs.Adele Deters,Mrs.Camelia Popp and Mrs.Eva Knuttila,all of Belle Vernon,and Mrs.Ora Sherwin of Monessen,Mrs.Marie McDonald of State College,Pa.,and Mrs.Doris Marshall of California,Pa.,five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received in the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home,Mt.Vernon,Ohio,Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.  Services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home,with the Rev.William O'Hara,pastor,First Baptist Church,Mt.Vernon,Ohio,officiating.  Graveside Committal Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m.at Belle Vernon Cemetery,with the Rev.Charles D.LaPlaca,pastor,First Presbyterian  Church,Belle Vernon,officiating.
