Harry Lloyd Bickerton,aged 54 years,died at his home at No. 6 Speers street, Speers,Monday morning,August 6,1928,at 2:15 after a lingering illness. He had been confined to his bed for the past month. He was a prominent resident of Speers and had been president of the council for the past several years. He is survived by his widow,Mrs. Lillian Bickerton,and four children,Mrs. Jean McMullen,of Lonaconing,Md.,Harry,Jr. of Crest avenue,Charleroi,Robert and Mildred at home,his parents,Mr.and Mrs. Robert Bickerton of Charleroi and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the late home at 2:30 o'clock,with interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
