Obituary

Harry D. Hobbs,86,of Charleroi,died suddenly Friday,Jan. 12,1996,in the home of his daughter,Patsy Huseman of Hillsboro,N.J.  He was born Nov. 12,1909,in Monessen,a son of the late Osmer and Nora Heinbaugh Hobbs. A retired millwright at the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Monessen Plant,he was a member of the Presbyterian Church,the B.P.O.E. Lodge 494,F&AM Lodge 615 and the Charleroi Lions Club,all of Charleroi. Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Huseman of Hillsboro, N.J.,and Sharon Lindenberg;one brother,Alfred Hobbs of Youngstown, Ohio;four grandchildren,Tricia and Scott Huseman,and Todd and Sean Herilla;and two great-grandchildren,Brandon and Justin Huseman. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Steele Hobbs;four sisters,Ruth Lieder,Margaret Dudra,Dorothy Haley and Helen Wilson. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Bailey of First Presbyterian Church,Monongahela,officiating.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.
