Before his retirement seven years ago;he had been employed in the stock yard of the local Pittsburgh Steel Co.plant. Surviving are a son;Donald;of Belle Vernon;two brothers;William and Lynn;both of Pricedale;and three sisters;Mrs.Cora Acton and Mrs.Anne Harvaugh;both of Monessen;and Mrs.Liza Jane Staples;Pricedale. Friends are being received a the Check Home for Funerals;100 Schoonmaker avenue;where funeral services will be held Thursday;July 17;1952;at 1:30 p.m.with Rev.J.Nelson Jackaway officiating.
