Harry Byron;77;of 210 Grove Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;June 24;1976 at 7:05 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Barnesboro on Feb.6;1899 and had lived in Lynnwood the past 35 years. Previously;he resided in Monessen. Mr.Byron was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church. He had retired as a bricklayer from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. His wife;Helen Nelson Byron;preceded him in death in 1970. Surviving are one son;Wallace Byron of Campbell;Calif.;one sister;Mrs.Glenn (Eleanor) Mills of Layton;Utah;four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.at the funeral home with the Rev.Hartzell A.Michael of Lynnwood Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
