Harriet E. Williams Stark of 625 Speers St.,Belle Vernon died Friday, Oct. 1,1982 at 3:10 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 79. Mrs. Stark was born Dec. 18,1902,in Fredericktown,a daughter of the late John and Victoria Daugherty Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Stark,S., on Nov. 20,1965. Mrs. Stark had been a Belle Vernon resident the past 28 years, and was a Methodist by faith. Surviving are two sons, John R. Stark of Belle Vernon and George w. Stark Jr.of Zanesville, Ohio;three sisters, Mrs. Callie Sargent of Pittsburgh,Mrs. Mildred Bandes of Fredericktown,and Mrs. Ruth Reese of Waynesburg; two grandsons,John S. Stark of Belle Vernon and Gregory Stark of Zanesville, Ohio and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home,with the Rev. Charles Sowden,pastor, First United Methodist Church,Fredericktown,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arangements.
