Mrs.Harriet A.Sneed of 22 Carson street;Speers;died suddenly at her home of a heart attack;Monday;October 11;1948;at 12:30 p.m. She was born August 17;1872;in New England;Pa.;the daughter of George and Helen Crompton Hilton. She came to Speers fifty years ago from New England;and was a memeber of the Speers Methodist Church;the Ladies Aid Society of Speers;and the Home and Hospital Club of Speers. She is survived by one son;Murel Sneed of Charleroi;five daughters;Mrs.Clara Burdick of Westville;New Jersey;Mrs.Virginia Bickerton of Speers Hill;Mrs.Elsie Tuccelli of North Charleroi;and Alma and Eleanor Sneed at home;one brother;James Hilton of Homestead;six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at her late home. Services will be held there Thursday;October 11;1948;at 2:30 p.m.in charge of Rev.Leonard Fox. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Lawrence H.Frye is the funeral director.
