Harold Lewis Sr.;57;a member of the Roscoe Council;died in Washington Hospital Tuesday;May 4;1965;at 11:55 a.m.after a lengthy illness. Mr.Lewis made his home at 305 Lynn St.;Roscoe. He was employed at the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel. Born in Charleroi on Feb.2;1908;he was the son of the late Charles and Mayme Gamiel Lewis. Surviving are his widow;Emily Swinhoe Lewis;two sons;Harold Jr.of Elco and Darrell at home;two daughters;Mrs.Wanda Farkos and Mrs.Judy Bizet;both of Stockdale;two brothers;Ralph of Largo;Fla.;and Russell of Ontario;Calif.;one sister;Mrs.Ruth McKain of Elyris;Ohio;five grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Ruth Eckert Funeral Home in Roscoe from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service there Friday;May 7;at 1 p.m. in charge of the Rev.Dale Bissell;pastor of the Church of the Nazarene at Stockdale.
