Obituary

Harold G.Harmon of 117 Lee Drive,Belle Vernon,Rostraver Twp.,died Wednesday,June 10,1981,at 11:10 p.m.in Shadyside Hospital,Pittsburgh.  He was 62.  He was born Oct.18,1918 in Baltimore,Md.,and had been a Belle Vernon resident for the past 21 years.  Mr.Harmon was employed as a salesman for Beacon Supply Co.and also was a musician.  He had played the harmonica and entertained troops with various U.S.O.clubs and also played with the Borr Minovich Band,Harmonica Masters,and Johnny Puleo and the Harmonica Gang.  He was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II.  Mr.Harmon was Protestant by faith.  He was a member of the Belle Vernon Masonic Lodge No.643 and the Fellows Club of Pittsburgh.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter,Mrs.Barbara Winter,in 1969.  Survivors include his spouse,Mary Reho Tintori,a son,Thomas Harmon of Rosetree,Pa,two daughters,Mrs.Charles (Terry) Slotterback of Lester,Pa.,and Mrs.Joseph (Betty Jean) Lombardo of Voorhes,N.J.,two brothers,Carroll and Charles Harmon,both of Mantua,N.J.,two sisters,Mrs.Iva Mae Strenge of Aldan,Pa.,and Mrs.Evelyn Small of Mantua,N.J.,and 18 grandchildren.  Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,on Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Belle Vernon Masonic Lodge No.643 will conduct services on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m.at the funeral home with the Rev.Lee Dinsel,pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon,officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
