Harold D. (Hudge) Driscoll of Main St.,Fayette City,died Thursday,July 7,1977 at 10 a.m. in West Virginia University Medical Center, Morgantown,W.Va.,following a lengthy illness. He was 69. Mr. Driscoll was born Dec. 15,1907 in Mercer County,Pa.a son of the late Edward and Margaret Bucham Driscoll. He was a retired coal miner and a retired employee of the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr. Driscoll was a member of Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City. Survivors include his widow,Helen Mast Driscoll;a son,James,at home,two sisters,Mrs. Mabel Driscoll Stewart of Fayette City and Mrs. Eunice Driscoll Griffin of Midland,Pa.,and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Main St.,Fayette City,after 7 p.m. Friday. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City. Rev. Thomas G. Rinn,pastor, will be the celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A wake service will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
