Harold B. (Lit) Lambert of 408 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;May 26;1985;at 12:40 A.M.in Havencrest Crest Convalescent Home. He was 74. Born in North Belle Vernon on;Nov.5;1910;he was a son of the late Charles and Sarah Breakwell Lambert. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Charleroi;F&AM Beaver Valley Lodge No.753;Mon Valley Caravan No.17 Shrine of Pittsburgh and the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton;Ohio. Mr.Lambert was a Civilian Industrial Specialist with the U.S.Air Force;which he retired from in 1965 after 25 years of service. He then owned his own Consulting firm from 1965 to 1975. He was preceded in death by three brothers;Gordon;Chester and William Lambert. Surviving are his wife;Edna Githens Lambert; three sons;Charles W .Lambert of Lancaster;Harold G.of New Freedom;and James A.of Littitz;three daughters;Mrs.Elma Winship of Buckner;Mo.;Mrs. Anthony (Patricia) DiGioia of Monessen;Mrs.Karen Cook of Columbus;Ohio;one brother;Edwin Lambert of Belle Vernon two sisters;Mrs.Jessie Flanigan of Aliquippa and Mrs.David (Mary Jane) Scholl of Belle Vernon;13 Grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon; where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev.Charles LaPlaca;pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Masonic services will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. by F&AM Lodge 643 at the funeral home. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
