Mrs. Hannah Elizabeth Griffin, aged 80 years,died at her home,320 Fallowfield avenue,Wednesday afternoon, March 30,1938, at 1:30 o'clock,after a three weeks illness. She was born in LaGrange,Pa.,Jan. 27,1858,the daughter of the late James Shippey and Lucy Ann Buchanan. She had resided in Charleroi for the past five years. Surviving are one daughter, Bertha E. McAllister of Charleroi,and a son, Floyd Griffin of Scranton,11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon,April 2,1938,at 2 o'clock,from the late home,with interment to follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
