Mrs. Hallie V. Stitt of Battle Creek,Mich.,formerly of Belle Vernon,widow of the late Thomas G. Stitt,died Thursday,June 29,1961 at 11:50 a.m.,in Battle Creek. She is survived by two daughters,Mrs. Douglas (Virginia) Nash of Battle Creek and Mrs. Norman (Lucille) Carigan of Mt. Clair,N.J.,one brother,V.Wayne West,of Belle Vernon,R.D.,one sister,Mrs. Lucille Thompson of Washngton,D.C.,and two grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon where visiting hours are 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Sunday at 2 p.m.,with the Rev. Earl Lighthalf of the First Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
