Mrs.Gwendolyn Shephard;aged 56 years;widow of Ross O.Shephard;died suddenly Monday;Dec.28;1942;at her home;914 Maple avenue;of a heart attack. Surviving are a daughter;Mrs.Joseph E.Dessent of Belle Vernon;three sons;Ross E.Shephard of Belle Vernon;Joseph F.and Robert F.Shephard;both of Monessen. Three grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home;Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Thursday;Dec.31;1942;at 2:30 p.m.Rev.Charles G.White;pastor of the U.B.Church of Monessen;will officiate.
