Guy Karelli; 81; of Belle Vernon; died Saturday; April 26; 2003; in Shady Rest Personal Care Home; Charleroi. He was born June 18; 1921; in Washington Township; a son of the late Gasper and Mary Mancuso Karelli. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Roscoe and a veteran of World War II; having served with the U.S. Army. Mr. Karelli was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant. He was preceded in death by his wife; Mary Vargo Karelli; in 1995. Survivors include his son; Guy A. Karelli and wife Joelle of Charleroi; and one grandson; Jason Karelli of Charleroi. Friends will be received at the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional viewing will take place Wednesday; April 30 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ in Roscoe; at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. David Nolfie officiating. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
