Obituary

Services were held Monday morning,Feb. 18,1980 for Giuseppina (Josphine) Simboli,86,of 402 Hill St.,Belle Vernon,who died Friday,Feb. 15,in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Cutigliano, Italy,July 29,1893,daughter of the late Domenic and Isola Bonucci. She was a member of the St. Sebastian R.C. Church of Belle Vernon,the Anita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon and had lived in Belle Vernon since 1910. Preceding her in death was her husband,Anelito,Feb.18,1971.Surviving are one son, Guido Simboli of Belle Vernon;one daughter,Mrs. Norma Tonarelli of Belle Vernon;five grandchildren,Jerry and Linda Tonarelli,both of Belle Vernon,the Rev. Ronald L. Simboli of Greensburg,Dennis and James Simboli,both of Belle Vernon,and three great-grandchildren. A Prayer service was held in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,at 9:30 a.m.,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Sebastian Church at 10 a.m. Her grandson,the Rev. Ronald L. Simboli of Greensburg was the chief celebrant. Co-Celebrant was the Rev. Leonard Stoviak of St. John Catholic Church of Scottdale. Burial was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
