Guiseppe Petitto of 610 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Dec.24;1984;at 9 a.m. at his home. He was 85. Mr.Petitto was born Feb.1;1899;in Italy. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. A resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 64 years;Mr.Petitto owned and operated the Petitto Shoe Repair Shop since 1920. He was preceded in death by his parents;five brothers and a sister. Mr.Petitto was also preceded in death by his wife;Eunice Spina Petitto;June 19;1973. Survivors include a son;Alvin J.Petitto of Belle Vernon;three daughters;Mrs.Lee (Mary) Shaffer of San Bernadino;Calif.;Mrs.Marty (Gilda) DeBernadinas of Wilmington;Del.;and Mrs.John (Emma Jean) Carpini of the state of California;11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Thursday;Dec.27;at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
