Gloria Snyder, 75, of Monessen, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in her home surrounded by her family. A daughter of the late John and Dorothy Retus Coccari, she was born in Monessen on October 4, 1946. A lifelong resident of Monessen, Gloria was a member of the City Reach Church in Charleroi. She loved to collect dogs and angel figurines and was known for sending handwritten cards to her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Snyder; two sons and a daughter in-law, Troy and Vickie Snyder of Chesapeake, VA and Darren Snyder of Monessen; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a sister and brother in-law, Marlene and Bill Ulisky of Sebastian, FL; a brother, John Coccari of Speers; a daughter in-law, Stephanie Snyder of Rochester, MN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by a son, Edward Snyder.
