Glenn McKee of 214 Edith St.;Belle Vernon (Fairhope);died Thursday;Dec.22;1988;at 11:35 p.m.in Montefiore Hospital;Pittsburgh; He was 75. Mr.McKee was born Jan.18;1913;in Willock;a son of the late William and Violet Hill McKee. A member of the Fayette City United Methodist Church;he had been a Fairhope resident the past five years. Mr.McKee;a member of the United Mine Workers of America;retired in 1972 as a coalwasher at Banning No.1 mine. Survivors include his wife;Mary Kostelac McKee;five daughters;Barbara Povrzanich and Mrs.James (Arlene) Booley;both of Belle Vernon;Mrs.John (Glenda) Sargeant of Birmingham;Ala.;Mrs.John (Debbie) Kissell of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Joseph (Mary Jo) Buerlen of Hudson;Ohio;one brother;William McKee Jr.of McDonald;two sisters;Jane Anderson of Finleyville and Nancy Murphy of Midway;10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Monday;Dec.26;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Jack Elder;pastor of the Fayette City United Methodist Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
