Obituary

Gladys Spiker Kelley, 80, of Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, in Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 8, 1925, in Washington Township, Fayette County, a daughter of the late Emerson and Margaret Grant Spiker. She was a member of Pricedale Union Church. Survivors include two daughters, Donna K. Kelley of Swissvale and Sandra Lee Josson of Belle Vernon, a sister, Marion Bunny Pinasko and husband Andrew of Belle Vernon, a granddaughter, Amy E. Miller and husband Ross, and great-grandson, Evan Miller, all of Greenville, S.C., and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Kelley, on Sept 16, 1997, and three brothers, Melvin, who died in 1943 during World War II, Emerson, in 1956, and Elmer C. Spiker, in June 1986. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 17, until 1 p.m., the hour of service with Pastor James Mimidis officiating.
