Gladys Rutkowski Gavazzi;84;of 9 Eggers Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;March 14;1991;at 8:15 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Dec.4;1906;in Penn;a daughter of the late William and Catherine Roth Rutkoswki. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Nello Ralph Gavazzi in April 1963;and several brothers and sisters. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. She resided in Belle Vernon for the past 52 years. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law;Ralph Nello and Janet Lee Gavazzi of North Huntingdon;one daughter;Mrs.Cal (Vivian) Bernardo of Belle Vernon;and one sister;Lucy Surdy of the state of California. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Blessing service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Community Ambulance Service. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
