Gladys Wilson Stephen Groves of Penn;Pa.and formerly of Fairhope (Belle Vernon) died Monday;April 14;1986;at 2 p.m.in Allegheny General Hospital;Pittsburgh;following a lengthy illness. Mrs.Groves was 62. Born May 15;1923;in Washington Township;Fayette County;she was a daughter of the late George W.and Emma Perry Wilson. Mrs.Groves was a member of the Salvation Army of Jeannette. Surviving are her husband;Allwin Groves;one son;Nick Stephen of Baltimore;Md.;one daughter;Mrs.Raymond (Linda) Gaimbaltista of Jefferson Estates;Fayette City R.D.1;11 grandchildren;and four sisters;Mrs.Emma Bland of Ohio;Mrs.John (Jane) VanPatter of Altwater;Calif.;Mrs.Lawrence (Florence) Allen of Clairton and Mrs.Herbert (Ada) Walls of Baltimore;Md. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday until 10 a.m.when funeral services will be held at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;with Lt.E.L.Pritchard with the Salvation Army of Jeannette officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
