Gladys Fleming McLaughlin;69;of 46 Donner Ave.;Monessen died Thursday;April 7;1977 at 7:30 a.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She had been in declining health. Born in Belle Vernon;Mrs.McLaughlin had resided in Monessen for many years. Her husband;Robert J.McLaughlin;preceded her in death on June 13;1976. Surviving are a daughter;Mrs.Francis (Mary E.) Miller of Harrisburg;two sons;Robert C.McLaughlin of Belle Vernon and James W.McLaughlin of Monessen;two sisters;Mrs.David (Genevieve) Hough of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Joseph (Doris) O’Renish of East Monongahela;one brother;John Fleming of Monessen;eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.; 1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen ater 7 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Howard E.Kennedy of First United Methodist Church;Monessen;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rhome funeral directors in charge.
