Gladys Link-Holt; 67; of Pittsburgh; formerly of Monessen; died Monday; May 9; 2005. She was born Dec. 20; 1937 in Monessen; the daughter of Grace Link; who survives; and the late Algie Link Sr.; wife of the late Milton G. Holt Sr.; and beloved mother of Milton Jr.; Erik and Lisa; all of Pittsburgh; grandmother of Milton III; Dwayne Jr. and Tyler; all of Pittsburgh. In addition to her mother; she is survived by a sister; Lois Sterling of California; and a brother and sister-in-law; Algie Jr. and Sharon Link of Atlanta; Ga. Mrs. Holt matriculated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in journalism and retired from UPMC Rehabilitation Hospital/The Children’s Institute; where she worked as a medical transcriptionist and switchboard operator. Thoughts of her warm smile and boundlessly generous heart will brighten the memories of all who knew her. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the BEVERLY C. DRAPER FUNERAL HOME; 608 Sixth St.; Monessen; and from 7 to 9 p.m. in Union Baptist Church; 670 McMahon Ave.; Monessen. Funeral services will be held in the church on Friday; May 13 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Clifford Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
