Gilbert S.Mills;90;of 132 Grandview Way;Mapleview;Charleroi;was dead on arrival at Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital Tuesday;Oct.28;1975;at 12:22 p.m. He was born March 9;1885;in McClellandtown;son of the late John H.and Flora Belle Hostetler Mills. A carpenter by trade;Mr.Mills had been self-employed as a contractor for many years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Charleroi and the Men’s Bible Class of the church. His wife;Nellie;preceded him in death on Oct.27;1957. Surviving are one daughter;Mrs.Mary S.Houseman of Mapleview;Charleroi;with whom he resided;one grandson;Warren R.Houseman of Charleroi and two great-grenadchildren;Linda A.Houseman and Warren C.Houseman. Friends will be received at the Gerald R.Essey Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday. Private services will be held at the funeral home on Friday morning with the Rev.Francis N.Blair of the First Presbyterian Church of Charleroi officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
