Mrs.Coatsworth was born June 17;1911;in Pittsburgh;a daughter of the late George and Henrietta Spiker McGavitt. She was Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband;George Smith. Survivors include her husband;Virgil Coatsworth;a son;K.Arthur Smith;stationed with the U.S.Navy in Virginia Beach;Va.;two brothers;Kenneth and Bob McGavitt.both of Coal Center;seven sisters;Mrs.Michael (Ethel) Hustava and Mrs.Joseph (Alma) Pigeon;both of Bentleyville;Marie Cherocci of Fallowfield Township;Mrs.Carl (Helen) Ditta and Mrs.Charles (Thelma) Pigeon;both of Charleroi;Mrs.Anthony (Marion) Bitonti of Coal Center and Mrs.Nick (Mabel) Petro of Belle Vernon;three grandchildren;Dan;Bruce and Elizabeth;one great-granddaughter;Sandi;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home;Inc.;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where services will be held Thursday;Feb.20;at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Gerald McCormick;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Charleoi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
