Gertrude Jane Lunt of 1027 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;April 16;1975;at 4:30 p.m. in Brownsville General Hospital. She was 63. Mrs. Lunt was born in Belle Vernon on Jan.28;1912;and had lived in that area all her life. She was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazerene. Surviving are her husband;Rhuel A.Lunt;six sons;Jay Smith of Belle Vernon R.D.4;Donald Lunt of Arnold City;Arthur Lunt of Monessen;William Lunt of coal Center;Dennis Lunt of Younstown;Ohio and John Dale Lunt of Coal Center;six daughters;Mrs.Kerry (Vivian) Hoover of Vesta No.6;Mrs.Dale (Sarah) Byrne of Coal Center;Mrs.Robert (Darlene) Smalley of Coal Center;Mrs.Warren (Elaine) Ambler of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Homer (Ellen) Smith of Coal Center and Mrs.Frank (Suzanne) Duda of Arnold City;her mother;Mrs.Emily Brubaker of Arnold City;two brothers;Charles Smith of Belle Vernon R.D.2 and James Smith of Charleroi R.D.;49 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.Kenneth E.Neiderhiser of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene officiating.
