Gertrude E. Adams,72, of 225 Second Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,Feb. 21,1991,at 8:45 a.m. in Jefferson Center Hospital. She was born Feb.4,1919,in Belle Vernon, a daughter of the late William B.and Anna Clark Corwin. Mrs. Adams was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by a son, William K. Adams,on Jan.7,1953. Survivors include her husband,Robert S. Adams;one daughter,Mrs. James (Verona) Partridge of Beaverton,Ore.;and two grandchildren,Chris Yeaton and Candice Mollerus. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Dr. Donald A. Schnarr,pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
