Gertrude Mills,32,of 612 Ninth St.,Monessen died Thursday morning,July 2,1964, at 3 o'clock at Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial,shortly after she was admitted. She had been a resident of Monessen since 1947. She was born in Whitsett on Feb. 16,1932. Surviving are two children,Harold and Bernadette at home; her mother, Mrs. Bessie Mills of Pricedale;five sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Madison of Fairchance,Fannie of Flint,Mich,Mrs. Dorothy Calloway of Monessen,Mrs Frances Smith of Pricedale and Sherdina of Monessen;three brothers, Robert of Washington,Pa.,Herbert of Monessen and Melvin of Uniontown. Friends will be received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. July 2. Service in the funeral home chapel Saturday,July 4,at 11 a.m. in charge of the Rev. Nathaniel Whitefield,pastor of Union Baptist Church in Connellsville. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
