Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 7,1994 for Georgetta B. Higgins,76,formerly of Charleoi,who died Thursday,Nov. 3,1994,in Harris Methodist Hospital,Bedford,Texas,after a brief illness. Born Sept. 14,1918,in Belle Vernon,she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret Doyle Burke. Mrs.Higgins had been living in Texas with her daughter since January. She was a member of First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law,Nancy and Bob Wallace; one son and daughter-in-law,Charles R. Jr.and Bonnie Higgins;four grandchildren Charles III and Kellie Higgins,Burke and Beanna Wallace and three sisters, Mary Burke,June Hamrock and Breanna Burke.In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Higgins Sr.,who died Sept. 10,1991. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.,Charleroi.
