George William Darker,R.D. 2,Belle Vernon,aged 74 years,died at his home Thursday, May 18,1950,at 10:30 a.m. He was employed as a foreman at the local Pittsburgh Steel Company. He is survived by his wife,a daughter, Mrs. Francis Hornbake,Belle Vernon,five grandchildren,and one great-grandchild. A brother, John Darker in England,also survives. Friends are being received at the late home until Sunday,May 21,when services will be held at 7 p.m. with Rev. J.N. Jackaway,pastor of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church officiating. Privare interment will be held Mnday morning at 10 o'clock in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
