George Wilding;a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 22 years;died Tuesday;May 27;1941;at 12:15 a.m.at his home in Lynnwood;following a short illness. He was aged 51 years. For the past 24 years he had been employed by the Pittsburgh Steel Company. Mr.Wilding was a member of the Marion Presbyterian Church;and for a period of five years was president of the Washngton Township Fire Co. He also was associated with the Fayette Co.Firemen and the Western Pennsylvania Association of Firemen. Surviving is his wife;Mrs.Malvina Wilding;three daughters;Mrs.George Rousseau;of Belle Vernon and Jean and Edna Mae at home;and a son;John Walter Wilding. Two grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Marion Presbyterian Church;with Rev.David Hunter;a former minister;officiating;assisted by Rev.James M.Rainey;pastor of the Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
