Mr.Rainey was a retired coal miner from the Sommer No.4 shaft of Pittsburgh Coal Co.;Pricedale;and a member of the United Mine Workers. Surviving are;in addition to his son John;three daughters;Mrs.Andrew (Isabelle) Hotochin of Monessen;Mrs.Harry (Mary Ann) Sethman Jr. of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Charles (Georginia) Wagner of Fayette City;three sons;Joseph of Fayette City;Edwin of Denbo and Robert D.of Nashville;Tenn.;26 grandchildren;45 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Friends are being received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.with the Rev.Hartsel A.Michael of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church;Belle Vernon;officiating.
