George W.Allfree;87;formerly of North Charleroi;who had been making his home with his daughter;Mrs.Caleb (Gladys) Zollars of 126 Kelly Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Feb.19;1968;at 8:15 p.m.in the Golden Age Nursing Home at Brownsville. Mr.Allfree formerly worked with Pittsburgh Street Railways Co.as a motorman;retiring some years ago. He was a member of Amalgamated Transit unit;Division 85;Pittsburgh;and First Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon. Surviving besides his daughter are his widow;Mary Wetzel Allfree;one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.beginning Feb.22. Service there Saturday;Feb.24;at 2 p.m.conducted by the Rev.W.S.Van Arsdale;pastor of Charleroi’s First Christian Church;and Dr.S.Arthur Talman;pastor of Belle Vernon’s First Presbyterian Church.
