George W.Kistler Sr.;of 513 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;died Wednesday;March 27;1985;at 1:54 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 92. Born in Elizabeth;July 17;1892;he was a son of the late George B.and Mary Woolslayer Kistler. Mr.Kistler was a resident of the Belle Vernon area for most of his life. He was a member of First Christian Church of Fallowfield Township and was a board member of the Golden Agers Club of Charleroi. Mr.Kistler retired as an employee of the former Monongahela Division of Mon Valley Hospital. In addition to his parents;Mr.Kistler was preceded in death by a sister;Laura Malady. Surviving are two sons;George Kistler Jr.of Charleroi and James Kistler of Coal Center;four daughters;Mrs.Paul(Laura) Boyce;Mrs.Jack (Mabel) Lessman and Mrs.Joseph (Evelyn) Federer;all of Charleroi and Mrs.Thomas (Wilma) Scullion of Fayette City;21 grandchildren;21 great-grandchildren;one nephew;J.Francis Malady;two nieces;Cynthia Bower and Ruth Natali and seven great-nieces and nephews. Friends are being received on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home;819 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where funeral services will be held Saturday;March 30;at 11 a.m. with Rev.Jack Brownlee;pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
