A native of Fayette City;George V.Granlund;47;321 East Seventh St.;Okmulgee;Okla.;died Monday;November 4;1957;at 1:10 a.m.(c.s.t.)in the Veterans Administration Hospital;Oklahoma City;Okla. Mr.Granlund was born Oct.10;1910 in Fayette City and was employed as a glass worker. He was a World War II veteran;having served in the U.S.Army. He is survived by his wife;Lucille;one daughter;Lillian;at home;his father;Victor Granlund;Fayette City;three brothers;John and Arthur;Fayette City and William;Clarksburg;W.Va.;and a sister;Mrs.Frank (Emma) Bogden;Detroit;Mich. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home after 7 p.m.Friday;November 8. Services will be held there Monday;November 11;at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.Karl Wilkman of Monessen. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery and military rites will be conducted by Brightwell Daugherty American Legion Post;Fayette City. George M.McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
