Obituary

 George V. Dohan,76,of 1313 Fayette Ave.,Fairhope, Belle Vernon,died Monday,March 29,1993,at 9:25 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital.  He was born in Fairhope,Nov. 29,1916,a son of the late Andrew and Julia Dohan. Mr. Dohan was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon.  He had lived in Fairhope for the last five years,formerly spending 40 years in Fayette City. He retired in 1981 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel,where he worked in the hot mill.  He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Dohan is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Gary (Georgine) Dongilli of Smithton R.D.1; a brother, Frank Dohan of Belle Vernon; two sisters, Mary Ottena and Helen Dohan,both of Belle Vernon and two grandchidlren, Jeremy and Dominque. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Semina Live Dohan,who died June 15,1984 and a brother, John Dohan who died in 1985. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Mass at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
