R.D.2; formerly of Fayette City;
died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday;
July 8; 1992; in Mon Valley
Hospital; Carroll Township;
after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Tollan was born Sept. 7;
1916; in Brownstown; Fayette City R.D.I; a son of the late Daniel
and Rondell Palmer Tollan.
He retired from the Tube Mill
of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corporation’s Allenport Works.
Mr. Tollan was a member of
St. Sebastian Roman Catholic
Church; Belle Vernon; the
Fairhope Rod and Gun Club;
and the Retired United Steel
Workers of America —
AFL-CIO-CLC.
Surviving are his wife;
Theresa Murt Tollan; two sons;
Thomas Tollan of Carmichaels
and Daniel J. and Beatrice
Pender Tollan of Sweeney Plan;
Belle Vernon R.D.2; two
daughters; Mrs. Jonathon
(Patricia) Harris of Covington;
Ky.; and Mrs. Gary (Maureen)
Sanclor of Vail; Colo.; 14 grandchildren ; eigh t great –
grandchildren; one sister; June
Scrip; of Elco; nieces and
nephews.
Friends will be received
Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W.
McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City and Saturday until 11:30 a.m.;when a Prayer service will be held in the funeral home;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at noon in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held in the funeral home at 8 p.m.on Friday. Arrangements are being handled by the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home.
