George T.Etheridge;prominent Belle Vernon resident;died Saturday morning;May 29;1943;at 5:30 a.m.;in the Allegheny General hospital;following a short illness. He was 56 years of age. For many years he has been a contract plumber in Belle Vernon. A member of the Presbyterian Church;he served as a deacon. He was a past matron of Belle Vernon Lodge 642;F.& A.M.;affiliated with the Syria Temple;Pittsburgh;the Uniontown Lodge of Perfection;Monongahela Royal Arch Chapter 290 and the McKean Commandery Knights Templar;Charleroi. Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Flora Etheridge;a son;Thomas Etheridge of Pittsburgh;a brother;Joseph Etheridge;of Bridgeville and a sister;Mrs.Sara Dodd of Belle Vernon. Friends are bieng received at the late home;407 Fayette street;where services will be held Tuesday;June 1st;at 2:30 with Rev.Edwin G.Sloan;pastor of the Presbyterian Church officiating.
