George Stanley,1017 Morgan Ave.,Monessen died Friday, Jan. 26,1962 at 10:30 p.m. Mr. Stanley was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen where he served on the Board of Deacons,and of Elks Lodge 697 of Monessen. He was a retired employee of Pittsburgh Steel Co. Surviving are his widow; three daughters, Lilliemae McWharter and Mrs. Irene Spring,both of Atlanta, Ga.,and Mrs. Mamie Roberts of Nashville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a brother,the Rev. E. Stanley of Pensacola,Fla. Friends will be received at the DuBoise H. Carter Funeral Home,Monessen,after 1 p.m.,Jan. 28. Funeral home visiting hours are from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.. Funeral services will be held Tuesday,Jan. 30,at 11 a.m. from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen,with the Rev. E. Archie officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. DuBoise H.
