George Sivak,50,of 714 Oneida St.,Monessen,died suddenly Friday,Sept. 20,1963,at 12:30 a.m. at his home. Born May 10,1913 in Butler, he was a resident of Monessen most of his lifetime. He was a wire drawer at the Page Plant of the American Chain and Cable Co.,Monessen. Surviving him are; his widow, Helen Krivyanik Sivak;four children,P1C,John Richard with the U. S Army,stationed in Kansas,George David at home,Myron Eugene at home and Mary Ann at home;two brothers,John of McKeesport and Michael of Webster;two sisters,Mrs. Marie Mizerak of Ford City and Mrs. Irene Shorraw of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Check Home for Funerals,Monessen. Blessing service there Monday, Sept. 23,at 8:30 a.m.,will be followed by additional services at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholiv Church of Monessen. The Rev. Andrew Parvensky will officiate and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. John L. Kravets of Monessen is the funeral director.
