Obituary

George Seman Jr.,59,of 315 Mikula Road,Arnold City,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,April 1,1976 at 12:01 a.m. in Cleveland Clinic,after a lengthy illness. He was born in Washington Twp.on Aug.26,1916,son of the late George and Anna Shandor Seman Sr. Mr.Seman had been a coal miner and belonged to Holy Spirit Catholic Church,Fayette City. He served with the U.S.Merchant Marines during World War II. Surviving are his widow,Frances Malinoski Seman,one son,Phillip,at home,three daughters,Mrs.Michael (Francine) Mendicino of Charleroi,Mary Beth and Anne Elaine,both at home,two brothers,Paul and Andrew Seman,both of Arnold City,four sisters,Mrs.Steve (Anne) Matway of Perryopolis,Mrs.Albert (Sue) Beeler Jr.and Mrs.James (Betty) Houseman,both of Fairhope,and Mrs.Charles (Helen) Biksey of Lynnwood,and two grandsons. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,after 7 p.m. Friday. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Spirit Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev.Thomas Rinn officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday at 8 p.m. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director in charge.
