George S. Minnie,aged 77 years,14 Third street, Pricedale,died Thursday,Aug. 19,1954,at 10:40 a.m. at his late home. Born in Pennsylvania,the deceased was a member of the Pleasant Green A.M.E. Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Matilda Minnie;three sons,James and Leroy,at home,and Robert,in Coatesville Veterans Hospital;three daughters,Villa,Sylvia and Viola,all at home; a step-son,Joseph Horton,of Pricedale;a grandaughter,and a brother, Robert Minnie,of Hendersonville. Services will be held in the Pleasant Green A.M.E.Church,in charge of Rev. Andrew Chaney,Monday,August 23, 1954,at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Goerge M. McCrory and son are the funeral directors.
