George Petroka; 80; of
Fayette City; died Friday;
March 9;2001; in his home. He
was born March 1; 1921; in
Fayette City; a son of the late
John and Anna Todovich
Petroka Sr. He was a U.S.
Navy veteran; having served
in World War II. Surviving are
his wife; Agnes Povlish Petroka; and children; George S.
Petroka and wife Margaret of
Stafford and Sandra Boyles
and husband Michael of
Fayette City RD; one brother;
Michael Petroka and wife
Pauline of Charleroi; and five
grandchildren Erin; Michael
and Jenna Boyles and Andrew
S. and Katherine Petroka.
Friends will be received at the
ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL
HOME; INC.; 334 Main St.;
Fayette City on Saturday 7; to
9 p.m.; Sunday; noon to 4 p.m.
and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Monday
until 12:30 p.m. when a blessing service will take place followed by a Funeral Mass at 1
p.m. in the Holy Spirit R.C.

Rev. Fr. Leonard McAlpin as
celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery
