Obituary

George P.Kyle Jr.,78,of 724 Speer St.,North Belle Vernon,died Saturday,Jan.20,1996,in Kenric Manor,Donora. He was born in West Union,W.Va.,April 22,1917,a son of the late George P.and Germaine Castine Kyle. Mr.Kyle was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon,the Monongahela Historical Society,Three Rivers Tool Collectors,Ohio Tool Collectors,Early American Industrial Association and the National Pike Steam and Horse Association of Brownsville. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,he retired in 1982 from the blooming mill of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel,where he was a roller in the Monessen Plant. Surviving are his wife,Ethel Ross Kyle,with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage on April 7,1995,one son and daughter-in-law,George P.and Sherry Kyle III of Washington Township,one daughter,Mrs.Bruce (Toni) Usher of Belle Vernon,two brothers,Eugene Kyle of Rockford,Ill.,and Ralph J.Kyle of Winter Haven,Fla.,one sister,Elmira Steer of Belle Vernon,and two grandchildren,Ryan Usher and Justin Kyle. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by three brothers,John,Robert and Charles,two sisters,Grace Mustybrook and Denise Paluso,and a granddaughter,Jennifer Usher. Friends will be received in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Dr.Thomas St.Clair of the First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
