George Murphy;72;of 1331 Fayette Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Monday morning;Nov.20;1972;at 1:53 a.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospitals;Inc. He was born in Vesta on Aug.2;1900. He was a World War II veteran. He was retired as a huckster;having worked this vicinity for years. He has no survivors but made his home with Mrs.Mary Ann McDonough for the past 20 years. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Tuesday at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where a Blessing service will be held Wednesday;Nov.22;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Mass at 10 a.m.at St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;with Msgr.Martin J.O’Toole officiating.
