Groege L. Sonny Stimaker Sr.;56;of 500 Third St.;Monessen;died Sunday;Aug.27;1995;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Born Jan.14;1939;in Webster;he was a son of the late Louis and Mary Ellen Reece Stimaker. Prior to his retirement;Mr.Stimaker had been employed at Westinghouse as a machinist. A U.S.Navy veteran;he was a member of the Polish Falcon Nest 247 of Donora and Franco-Belgium Society of Monessen. Survivors include his wife;Sophia Mathieu Stimaker;a daughter and son-in-law;Mary Lynn and Richard Kucik of Irwin;one son;George L.Stimaker Jr.of Monessen;three grandchildren;Brenden Kucik;Torie Rae Stimaker and George L.Stimaker III;one brother;Thomas Stimaker of Webster;and one sister;Mrs.Mike (Virginia) Kopena of Donora. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen where services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.Edward Day officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
