He and his wife had celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on Dec 24;1971. He is survd by his widow;Josie Haines Popp;one son;George W.Popp of Columbus;Ohio;one daughter;Mrs.Edwin (Bernice) Dowler of Lorain;Ohio;and one grandson. Friends will be received in the Harold C.Schrock Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;on Sunday;Jan 30;1972;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday;Jan 31;1972;at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.Charles Colas;pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon;officiating.
