George L.Homa;67;of Perryopolis RD.2 died Wednesday;Aug.24;1977;at 5:30 p.m.at his home.  He was a member of St.John’s Area Golden Age Club of Perryopolis.  Surviving are his widow;Martha;two sons;George J.Homa of Freeland;Pa.;and Richard Homa of Metaire;La.;three step-sons;Rodger Nesti of Goldsboro;N.C.;Ronald Nesti of Upper Marlboro;Md.and Rick Nesti ofPerryopolis R.D.2;two stepdaughters;Mrs.Paul (Joyce) Staub of Uniontown and Mrs.Benjamin (Diane) Hodge of Vanderbilt;two brothers; Joseph Homa and Michael Homa;both of New Jersey and 15 grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home;Perryopolis;Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.in St.John Catholic Church in Perryopolis;with the Revs.Frank Lesniowski and Larry Kiniry;the celebrants.  A wake service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9 p.m.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Blair Lowther funeral directors in charge.  In lieu of flowers;contributions may be made to the American Cancer society.
