George K.Adams;64;of 543 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly Tuesday;Aug.17;1971;at 10:15 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was born in Wilson;a son of John and Flora Strayer Adams. He was a resident of the Belle Vernon area for the last 40 years. He was employed in the hot mill of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s Allenport Plant. He was a member of the East Belle Vernon Athletic Association. Surviving are his widow;Helen Lehew Adams;two sons;James K.Adams of Bentleyville and George W.Adams of Belle Vernon;one sister;Mrs.Rachel McLaughlin of Roscoe;and six grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where a service will be held Friday;Aug.20;at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.David L.Cook of the Faith United Presbyterian Church of Sebring;Ohio;officiating.
